Ted Ensley
A first-class public garden encompassing 20 acres, including 9.5 acres of landscaped flowers, trees, and special gardens, the Ted Ensley Gardens feature many annual perennial, rose, water and rock gardens, and an arboretum. With Lake Shawnee as a backdrop, the gardens incorporate shade and sun gardens, waterfalls and streams and ponds. A trailhead shelter, gazebo, pergola, large walking bridge and garden house add to the enjoyment of this beautiful garden.
The endowment fund is used to maintain and preserve the garden at its current level and to permanently and prominently recognize Jerold Binkley and Ted Ensley.
