Our Mission

To enhance the park and recreation experience in Shawnee County through charitable contributions of time and resources.

Our Vision

We aim to promote healthy lifestyle choices and improve quality of life by providing the best in parks, golf courses and recreation facilities and programs to residents of urban and rural Shawnee County. Crucial to the success of our vision is the dedicated efforts of countless volunteers, parks and recreation patrons and private businesses all working together to enhance and maintain Shawnee County facilities.

Our History

Shawnee County Parks + Recreation Foundation (now Parks For All Foundation) was formed in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) organization which uses tax-deductible contributions, bequests and advertising revenues to support major capital improvements, public park land acquisition, special projects, and programs.

In 2018, we changed our name to Parks For All Foundation to better reflect our mission, vision and overall community values.
